ISO 22000
ISO 22000 is a standard developed by the International Standards Organization that specifies a food safety management system. Food security is linked to the presence of food-borne risks in products. Given that risks can occur at any point in the food chain, it is essential that there is a joint effort by all constituent parts in that chain with a special emphasis on communication between entities. Congelagos was ISO 22000 certified in Oct 2020, shortly after its first year of operation
